First surgery went fine, but second hand was awful. Still hurting
I had a spinal fusion performed by Dr. Vaughn, in 2015,(C5,6&7 vertebrae). I was very nervous about someone working on my spine, especially, because I am a black man in the South and normally people like me receive subpar healthcare. But my fears were unfounded when it came to Dr. Vaughn. He listened to my concerns and laid out my course of treatment. Absolutely hands down a great Dr with a great staff. I've only been going a short time, but I'm really comfortable and at ease for the first time at an orthopedic Dr Can't wait to get my surgery and not hurt all the time! Update: had my surgery June 3rd. Ended up having to stay in hospital due to the fact we couldn't get my pain under control but I'm almost 4 weeks post op and even tho I'm still in pain, I'm very very pleased with how my surgery went and how great of a Job he did. True life saver to me
