Great hair is worth the drive! – I live in San Marcos, yet I drive all the way to Austin just to get beautiful. I lived in california before where they really know how to do hair. When I moved here, a friend hooked me up with Vanity Salon. I went in for my appointment, and got new talent "Gene". I needed highlights and a cut. Best highlights by Gene! – Like so many of the reviews, I, too, was new to Austin and searching for a new salon. All of the reviews for Vanity were so positive I decided to give it a try. I contacted the salon and was scheduled for a haircut appointment with a "new talent" stylist within a few days. It was a wonderful experience from the very beginning. Great place for Men – I was looking for a new place and heard about Vanity Salon. It smells wonderful, the service was awesome, everyone working there is exceptionally attractive. I didn't have to wait and they paid attention to all of my requests. When I come back I am going to get a sports pedi/foot massage. They say it is minty. I found my home.

Best creative team – Excellent color, great direction from stylists for what was good for me, they suggested to shape my brows for my face shape and the hair cut and blowdry was amazing. My hair is so SHINY and RICH looking. It has never looked so healthy. I was even delightfully suprised when I called to make my appointment. The phone person was very helpful and happy. Another salon's mistake is my gain! – I moved to Austin about 3 months ago. I made an appointment at Vanity after my appointment at another salon in the area was canceled due to a booking error. I'm so glad that it was. From my first phone call to walking out the salon door, every experience was great. I was greeted by name as I entered and then taken on a short tour of the salon. Awesome cut, reasonably priced, cool atmosphere-recommend! – I was new to Austin and looking for a new hair salon. After reading reviews and making a few phone calls, I chose Vanity Salon for a cut. They have reasonable prices and the guy on the phone was super friendly(thats important! so many are rude on the phone and that is an immediate turnoff). So, I crossed my fingers and headed off. A little piece of heaven – I have been going to Vanity Salon for over 3 years now and love it there. You get to know the staff and they are always happy to see you and do great work. Lisa does the best highlights and I always get compliments after seeing her.

Very Impressive – I have lived in Austin almost 2 years now and finally found a salon I will revisit over and over again. I was very impressed by the customer service and the haircut I received. When I walked through the door I was immediately greeted and offered a variety of beverages. I was then greeted by my stylist and taken to her station where she began my cut with a scalp massage followed by shampoo. After my cut, my hair was styled and I loved it. The price was fantastic!!
