I definitely would not recommend this company. They installed a new AC in our upstairs but didn't take out a plug. We are rarely upstairs so it wasn't until 4 days later that we noticed water all over the floor and carpet. They sent someone out to "fix" it and said the NEXT WEEK (in three days) someone would look at the water damage. WE immediately pulled up the carpet, threw out the pad, brought in the dehumidifier and fan to start the drying process. Apparently, they did not seem to think this was urgent. Recently had the need for an AC repair. Seems the Evaporator coil decided to spring a leak and took the compressor with it. As you all know, AC repairs can be very expensive, even if some of the parts are still under warranty as was our case. Let first say that I had researched this company and I got 5 estimates before them. I read everything to the max and checked BBB and all the other websites that you can look up that had reviews. I chose this company because of their honesty. They did not trash the other Hvac companies I told them I talked to. Vanderford just told me the pros and cons of my units. Vanderford Air installed a complete high quality Daikin air conditioning and heating system in our hurricane Harvey damaged home in Dickinson, Texas. Their crew was on time and VERY professional! The completed the job in less than a day! They were very careful to not damage our home when they carried the old equipment down our stairway. Having a broken AC is a very scary position to be in.. I didn't know anything about ACs and I don't know anybody that I can trust about it. It's not a cheap investment.
