Thanks to Don, Beau, Jackie, and Cole (Valuebuild, Midnight Realty and Intercoastal Mortgage respectively), my husband and I were able to get our customized farmhouse on the most beautiful lot. Amazing builders
My husband and I were customers of Value Build. What started out as a great experience turned out to be a disaster. Do not allow them to stick you with Chris Martin as the builder or GM..... He is unprofessional and curses every other word with zero respect for customers and does not follow through on his promises. Materials that were supposed to be used to finish our roof are still in the garage and its been 2 months with no sign or phone call from the subcontractor who was supposed to be finishing it. So we are a current client of Value Build out in Wilkes County and we started with them back in Aug 2020 to try and get a house build and will we are almost complete, I will say avoid this company at all costs, find another builder. There have been numerous delays (some of their doing and others out of their control) but what they were accountable for, they did NOT deliver on. We were fortunate to find Value Build through our house hunting experience.From starting the process with Danny Stone who helped design our house to what we wanted to our builder Paul McNeil who helped us through the building process with weekly updates on things completed and things that were going to be done the following week. Paul would always answer any questions we had and really kept us involved in the process. This is not a 4 star company, please do not build with them. They build a poor quality home using very bad subcontractors. They do not follow up with the warranty promise to do repairs and do not answer their business phone or return phone calls.
I want to thank ValueBuild homes and especially my designated builder Chris Martin for building our dream house on property my family has owned and lived on since 1825. To bring to completion this house during a difficult year with Covid and the unexpected rise in the cost of lumber pretty much within budget was truly remarkable. When we found VB, after 6 months of searching, we have already had our share of visiting home builders, modular homes, new construction, even homes on the market to meet our needs.
