Gulf Coast Eye Institue is excellent in caring for patients. They carry the I CARE VALUES from the front desk thru back. I love to go there due to the best care ever. I feel very greatful to everyone that works there they are doing an exceptional job in caring for patients.
Dr. is good but the whole experience of taking my mother to her appointments are a total nightmare. Every appointment is a 4 hour wait. You wait that long for a 2 minute consult with the dr. Its ridiculous.
Worst experience ever!! First time we went my sister had an appt at 2:30pm wasn’t seen til 7pm! Second time we went we were sitting in the exam room i saw a small cockroach! So gross!!
I am a veteran and I work for Harlingen VA Medicsl center...receptionist wants my insurance card and DL....wrong this is a VA appointment....was she trying to double bill? It took 1hour and 6 mins to see the doctor. it was chaos....I am new here from Washington DC.. I just read a lot of the complaints on this page.. this clinic has a lot of work to do...I would never go back if I had to pay for it.. I will be talking with contracting with the VA it air my concerns about this facility.. "reminded me of a cattle call,"
Had a 9:30am appointment and they didn’t have the courtesy of calling me that the doctor was running late so they changed my appointment to 11am. Waited about 2 1/2 hrs to get into the doctor office for a 2 min visit.
Where to begin. Appointment was at 4 and were still waiting 3 hours later. I get the doctor has alot of patients, that's why you shouldn't book a patient almost 15 minutes apart to give 1 doctor 60 plus patients a day. And please don't allow your technicians to chew gum when they are close to the patients eyes. Sad thing is, I used to work here for 3 years. I will only stay here because I only trust 1 doctor to treat my dad, and 1 doctor to see my son and I. Work on your Customer Service skills more. Oh, and its ridiculous t... read more
The wait was abhorrent. They had us from office to office to office to finally another office to tell us to go back again. It is really absolutely ridiculous to schedule so many patients when there aren't even enough chairs to accomodate everybody. How is that fair for people who have an appt at 945 am and it's 1210 and still waiting in a hallway to be called. Without even a bottle of water!!!
