I rented with valley rental because I rented with them in Valley city for little over 10 years, they did pretty good for the most part. In April (fargo behind sandford)they were notified of roaches being in the apartment complex in may/june when I was signing my lease I was not informed of this issue. if I was I never would have moved in due to health issues and my high anxiety. when I asked why I wasnt notified I was told we dont have to. excuse me? that's a HEALTH ISSUE it should be notified. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! When I signed my lease I was continually told it was a 12 month lease. I went in to sign a notice to vacate and was then told they had me sign a 14 month lease WITHOUT ME KNOWING and now I am obligated to either pay the extra $1600 in rent or because they gave me an “incentive” of $100 off rent that, again I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT, that I have to pay $1200 for the $100 a month they are “giving me”. I've been a resident at a Valley Rental property for several years and I recommend this company for an affordable rental property for pet owners. The maintenance crew is fast and helpful also.

Greedy just like GoldMark. My first rental experience in Fargo was horrible and never will move back. Missed my notice period by 2 business days and will have to rent another month. Yes my mistake but a 2 day mistake causing me $970.00. No one willing to help me out and pro-rate or work something out with me. Greedy greedy greedy. Whatever happened to good honest people?

Horrible money hungry inconsiderate people they tow people’s cars for snow removal and expect you to keep your car off the parking spots from 8-5 pm what a joke of rental company horrible maintenance took them 2 months to replace a bathroom door told us and they try to fine you for anything and everything! The only good thing about them is that they are dog friendly.

we have been here for 2 + years. they are the first rental company that has a transfer fee, and you still have to completely reapply to move to a different apartment. if you want same size, smaller size, even if it's same floor, same building, doesn't matter. you want to switch apt, you have to completely reapply. even if you want to switch apt when your lease is up, you have to completely reapply. so we have been stuck here for the last year, due to not being able to afford additional deposit and app fee for a different com... read more

They hired a crew to do their flooring. That crew came out this week to do my flooring...first of all they left the toilet in the bathtub so when I got home at 8 o’clock at night I had no toilet. Now today they came back and left my couch in my kitchen and I can’t even get into my refrigerator at the moment!!! I have complained to both offices! Do not rent from them!

Update 8/24: Maintenance called and asked if I had submitted a maintenance request for my washer, and I explained that it had already been replaced. Note left on my kitchen table says there is no problem with the washer. Update 7/30: Day 11 and I came home to a new washer/dryer! New as in brand new. Thank you, Valley Rental, for replacing my broken washer with a brand new one. Nothing like a new appliance to make you feel like a winner! I never had an issue with Valley Rental until today. Granted I just moved to a different location. They posted a noticed on Friday, July 13th in the afternoon to have vehicles out of the lot on Monday July 16 @ 7AM, to do landscaping. I left town on Thursday, July 12, got back Sunday, July 15. So, my vehicle got towed. Barely, a 3 day notice. Absolutely unacceptable. There response "I should have seen it, there is nothing we can do." I talked to other tenants, between the 2 buildings @ Country Meadows 16 vehicles were towed.... read more
