My son was admitted on 10/15/19 for open heart surgery for a VSD repair. Just want to say Thank you to Dr. MacDonald for taking care of my little guy. There was not one day he missed in checking in on Elijah my son. All staff was excellent we are beyond blessed and thankful for everyone.We are now home a week later and recovery is going smooth. It was thanks to the great Surgeons and nurses that I was able to even walk again. They arranged a surgery at another hospital when they did everything they could for my issues. VCH was a wonderful hospital when I was a kid 20 something years ago, I’m 31 now and still think about what they did for me. I imagine times have changed and they became more advanced since then, but it looks like they have the same heart behind what they do!
