Best care I ever received. I'd rather drive the 170 miles from Ft. Hall Idaho than trust my care with the quacks in Pocatello.
Improve patients and families access to better meal while waiting and not the cheap cafeterias selection and redicules prices and better location for the two only food facilities. Improve better notifications for travel to SLC and not last minute b.s. getting the flight tickets.
I was at the SLC UT VA and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I actually get better treatment and care at the VA than at regular doctor office.
A lot of inexperienced Doctors. More interns than Doctors. The one serving grace are the Nurses. The Salt Lake VAMC is one of the best VA Hospitals in the Nation...and it can't hold a candle to the eight "civilian" hospital in the Salt Lake Valley. I have a heart condition, but have had more Cardiologist "Doctors" than I can remember. When I was going to non-VA hospital and clinics, I had just two and knew them both by their first names. I had a very good visit. Everyone was helpful with every question.
My experience at the S.L.C. VA has always been top notch, including my trip yesterday. There are some services that take time but that is to be expected. Thank you all the professional men and women here at the Salt Lake City VA
Yesterday there was a parking problem, (I guess construction on parking lot. 4 elevators but only one was working. Needless to say a long wait. Then at blood draw peoe waiting in hall because not enough chairs. Say they were short staffed is reason for long wait. Label maker not working created more problems. Other than that everything was great
Still here. Day 5. What a fun place to wait out all of the snow storms. I miss my dogs though.
I want to thank everyone that has provided excellent care to my father. MEDICU Acute care Dialysis thank you so much for taking care of that old Marine. Fisher house you have made it possiable for my family to be there to support my father. You all are angels and I am so thankful for you and the safe place in the storm.
