Just shocked at SLC VA system. Moved from another in South East that was phenomenal. Couldn't get a call back to transfer systems so finally went to the hospital. The Eligibility office is next door to the E.R. There were several people waiting over 2 hours just to be seen. One elderly man eventually just left! Now they tell me I can't get a regular appointment for over a month! Anyone that gives this VA system more than one star has never been to a successful VA system. I am so thankful for the doctors my husband sees at the VA! I'm also thankful that he was and has been able to get it when he needs to.
Was seen at qtc where I sat I. A storage closet for over an hour... Before being seen and the question they asked is staph pain full? Yes yes it is fevers it's horrible to have chronic, loved getting another infection while sitting In a filthy storage room!!!
Being a veteran I know this place, good care, and they have been there when I needed the care, the wait times could be improved though
Can anyone give me info about their MS center? We are looking at moving there and my husband needs a spinal cord injury unit (which I do not see online but I called and they said they have one) and an MS center of excellence. Reviews/advice on that?
I am a victim of rape or MST many years ago and never got help till about a year ago and I am great full for all the people at the VA who have help me and open many doors that have been close for years I rate the VA 10 stars cathy brinton
My husband almost died last night because of no communication from the VA Hospital. They discharged him from ICU back to the Veterans Home in Ogden, sending him back with no instructions or information for the nurses at the Vet Home. I am so mad today I cannot even see straight. You need to GET RID of all those interns who have big heads and let REAL DOCTORS who have experience, deal with patients.
I feel the Salt Lake VA Hospital and the Orem clinic are working to improve and I can feel their improvements along with others I contact nationwide.
I have been getting quality care from the VA SLC for the past two and a half years. I like it so much that I work there now. It has been only a few days but I have met some very professional people.
