I do not recommend the Salt Lake VA I am unfortunately in the Salt Lake catchment area as a Patient of Sheridan. Because of their nonpayments of specialty care providers under the Community Care Act more providers are no longer seeing patients Dr Barney a prosthodontist in Idaho Falls is no longer taking Veterans as Salt Lake refused to pay this provider for more than several patients letting these bills go unpaid for over a year and were non cooperative in helping them giving this office wrong information and numbers to cal... read more

My daughter took her grandfather to the ER in Salt Lake as a follow-up to a car accident and they were treated so inappropriately and rudely by Diane in registration. It’s appalling that a place that is supposed to treat our vets with kindness and dignity employees people of this nature. It goes against everything the VA is supposed to stand for. I would never recommend treatment there since they condone this kind of behavior in their employees.

So apparently your employees think that fire hoses need to be pulled out for peaceful protesters in Louisville....and has some pretty racist views she put out PUBLICLY on a NEWS press conference video feed....I hope this isn’t the view of your health care system

This VA in particular does not care about veterans. They kill veterans every single day. It literally is a meat factory, for alive and healthy vets to enter, then leave diagnosed with a mental disorder, or death. These people lie, they steal from the public, they don’t work, and they are the worst thing to happen to our country since nazis. They deserve the worst for what they’ve done to veterans. Let them know everyday that they are garbage. That they are not wanted or appropriated. That soon the focus will be back on them.... read more

its to bad they are more worried about the bottom line and filling their pockets than they are about the vets, they keep talking away much needed services the vets rely on for help and pain relief, and now you take away another one, now I know you are doing this on purpose, now I know why so many Vets commit suicide every day, every year, I'm betting thats your true goal drive them all to suicide so you can put more $$$ in your pockets... oh and the cleanliness is a joke

In Feb 2018 I sent husband to VA Hospital after going 3 days in a row to IMC with a seizure. IMC gave him morphine and after a few hours sent him home. The VA kept him, ran tests and put him on medication. Even our primary care did not do anything and he had seizures off and on for 15 years. So grateful to our VA Hospital inSalt Lake City. He had final episode in their hospital and none since.
