My dad passed a few days ago in the MICU. After a long battle with bladder cancer and many surgeries, kidney infections, etc, he lost his battle to pneumonia. For the last 2 and 1/2 years, the staff here have been caring for our entire family, and not just my dad. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in my dad's care. Urology, renal, 3 East, and MICU to name a few. You are all stellar people, care givers and medical professionals. The veterans served by VAPSHCS are blessed to have you, as were we.
