RecommendedSpent 11 days, 4 in ICU for treatment of acute pancreatitis. I can’t emphasize enough about the intense and constant care I received during that time ending with removal of my gall bladder. Everybody treated me as though I was special and acted in a professional manner until I was able to go home. This VA in my opinion is the best in the country. Many thanks to everyone involved in my care.

With so much negative about our VA system. I just wanted to say my husband was just in the Syracuse NY VA hospital for a couple of days and we could not have asked for better care and support. They were very thorough and we gor many much needed answers to questions and concerns we had... The direct care was fantastic. My hubby is not always the most patient man and can be quite rude ans demanding but the staff were so awesome with him. Thank you to everyone on 7 b in the Syracuse NY VA hospital!! GOD Bless!!

This is an amazing healthcare facility! I was truly worried after hearing constant "horror stories" from friends who had gotten out and were dealing with VA Hospitals in other areas, but the Syracuse VA Medical Center is by far one of the better healthcare facilities I have ever gone to for services...period. The staff is always helpful, courteous, and just outright phenomenal and the care I have received there so far has been superb. I simply could not ask for anything more!
I have always received excellent care at the Syracuse VA. Excellent staff who really care about their patients.
Awesome place for a veteran to get the treatment/doctor visit they need!!! Never seen a place that treat the patients the way they do at the VA!!!!
