RecommendedThe VA is amazing. Everyone that I have meet and had any interaction with have been very nice, helpful, and genuinely concerned. The infusion center is the best I have been to.
Get rid of all the student doctors and get a real staff... Get doctors who will give vets the disability they deserve, and not drag them across the coals... When they have a Line Of Duty documentation for the injury, they received the injury on duty... If anyone needs to put fire under NOLA VA, call the Va White House Hotline at: 1-855-948-2311... My experience is that it does wonders to get them off their duffs...

In all my years I have never been treated with such respect and caring as I have been at the VA in Houma and at the New Orleans Medical Clinic. To hear "thank you for your service" by the staff has put pride back in me to have served. The medical care and compassion I receive, the respect the staff shows to my wife surpasses anything I have received in the past from private practice doctors and hospitals I thank each and everyone of the people I come into contact with when we visit these facilities Jerry L.
