The staff alone will tell you nobody knows what’s going on there. You walk in the door thinking you have your ducks in a row and only have to spend one entire day there looking for answers.

Great facility where the health care workers are striving to make the veterans experience a pleasant one.
The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center could improve by not misdiagnosing veterans like my husband. He was misdiagnosed and treated for COVID-19 and didn't have it. For over 6 days he was tested 3 times and had negative results. Finally, after much forcefulness from me he was treated for bacterial pneumonia. and came off the ventilator within a couple of days. there are a lot of good people working here. have always gotten excellent care..
They provide poor medical service and discriminate against veterans that work there.
I had to bring my husband there to the ER on Friday. On the driver we were stopped by people in Masks and garb with devices to test our temperature. When I got to the entrance of the ER he was immediately taken in. I had to wait in the parking lot. He was tested within minutes for coven. It was negative. They are very professional and very caring thank you so much VA medical center
The west palm beach VA has almost killed me once with half assed surgical care post op. And wound care since surgeon did not uses staple of sutures on a belly wound . And now I’m need of post op care from heart procedure . But no one is available. And the local doc who did it won’t see me in his office since the VA doesn’t pay its bills . And no one there answers their phones . I guess doing yo job causes covid 19 even if the hospital is empty of normal patients .
