I’m currently at the main hospital standing in front of the optical shop, they won’t let you walk in they tell you to dial the number, I call the number the person puts you on hold as if they are doing work but I can look through the window and see someone is in the office but they are not doing anything,this is the only office in the main hospital that doesn’t answer the phone or do so called appointment because no one answers the phone and when they do they put you on hold for so long that you end up hanging up so don’t ha... read more
RecommendedOnce again I was an inpatient on the MICU while having some major medical issues. The entire staff who cared for me, beginning in the emergency room, provided quality care and treated me as though I were the only patient in each area. The doctors were very attentive to my medical issues and completely eliminated any fears I held in my mind about my mysterious diagnosis. I cannot believe at how badly managed the medical center is. Every time I have called regarding an appointment, no one actually answers the phone. When the system sends it to "voicemail", no one has checked voicemail, so you can't leave a voicemail for someone to call you back. No one calls you to tell you that your appointment has been cancelled, but tell you they did without leaving a voicemail and there is no proof of a phone call. I was a VA patient since 1982 - 37 years years and I own a Healthcare Consulting Company that performed Hospital Accreditation Inspections for the Joint Commission of Hospital Accreditation - I am a healthcare EXPERT. I'm also a Disabled Veteran, a borderline walking quadriplegic with Advanced Secondary Osteoporosis - secondary to Leprosy of my GI tract nerves.
