I am not only a patient but also an employee. You can't get better service anywhere compared to other hospitals. They took great care of my oldest brother now taking care of my other brother.
I got there 1 Hr early for my surgery, was still sitting there waiting 1 Hr after appointment time. The surgery is performed by medical students! Really! I got up and walked out. THANK you cor your service Mr veterans?
I first experienced the VA a few years back after contracting Non Hodgkins Lymphoma related to Agent Orange from my service in Vietnam. After going through the tough experience of the dealing with the Compensation side of the VA, I was introduced to the Medical side of the organization. What a surprise it was. Worst experience of our lives. Five months to get surgery on a severe problem. Check in at 11am and they make a vet with severe anxiety, bi polar disorder and PTSD wait 2 hours for a room. They don't give him his daily meds that he takes 3 times a day until 9pm after repeatedly asking for them. They don't manage his anxiety and send him into a full blown panic attack. Er understaffed waited 7 hours and wasn't seen a dr
Most incompitent ER I have ever had the misfortune to visit. So far almost 5 freaking hours waiting to see a Dr to get relief from a extremely painful gout flare-up. No regard for the pain patients are experiencing. No hustle or even attempt to get the few patients through the system. One couple has been here over EIGHT hours!!!
