Bad place. The ER will make you wait even if you are crying and in pain. They are mean and very slow. They don’t care about you and will profiling you. They profiled me. I will never go back. I will die first. I do not recommend
very caring staff, easy access, easy dismissal when leaving the ER
RecommendedGreat doctors and nurses. Support staff is warm and friendly! Not the long waits like in Madison and they are very thorough! So nice to have such a high quality facility so much closer to home!

Just had back, spine surgery. This is a beautiful facility with excellent care team. A huge thank you to Dr. Zdeblick, all the other doctors involved, nursing staff, O R crew and anyone else I may have missed!! Very quiet facility with large rooms! I received excellent care while their and would highly recommend this health care facility to anyone!! Keep up the good work guys and thank you for all the excellent care I received as your patient!! I arrived 15 min EARLY only to be informed the Dr. is running 90min behind schedule. A simple courtesy phone call should have been placed but NOOOO... that didn't happen and why didn't it? Excuses excuses excuses yet no definitive reason or actual explanation.
I have been going to the Beaver dam hospital since a little boy. I have recently change family doctors and have been in the ER at the American center. You can definitely tell the difference. I have yet met a rude nurse or doctor. I’m very Grateful my family doctor at the BDCH refused to see me as now I can see a different world of very helpful humans! Keep up the good job staff!
Valet service, customer service, medical staff esp nurses are all friendly and helpful. Can't believe the difference between UW hospital and the American Center.
