Thorough, explained procedure very well, knowledgeable, personable.
Discectomy in lower back. Outpatient surgery. Knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate. Excellent care. Amazing surgeon. Very thankful to have him as my surgeon.
I saw doctor Zahir and he explained everything that he was going to do my surgery was perfect great surgeon and great bedside manner no problems since recovery was short
Dr. Zahir took the time to explain my C5/C6 surgery options. However, why I gave him a terrible review is his staff which has no customer service period. This includes the receptionist name Darling who's not friendly as she's the first person to greet the patients. Also, Lilliana the surgical coordinator had over 5 days to research for me my option for a backup doctor as Dr. Zahir doesn't accept my insurance in NOVA. Dr zahir did back surgery on me in July 2022 and the results were better than I expected after hearing all the stories about bad outcomes great surgeon he is the man!!!
I went to this doctor who ordered an MRI for me. After getting the MRI and when the results of the MRI went sent to Zahir’s office, it was incredibly difficult to get any doctor to look at the results. They sat on the results without reviewing them for a long period of time. When I called them and asked them for the results, they gave me no assurance on when anybody could look at them.
