This week I go the chance to ride an URB-E around for a week and now I'm sold on wanting one. They're so quick and fast to jet to class. I wish they had more of a resistance on the handle bars so they were easier to control, but over all great experience. They're quite high quality, but that does make them heavy to carry, and difficult to walk them when you're with people without one. However, definitely recommend.
I rented an URB-E for a week from the USC Village store. The staff was super friendly in getting me my URB-E and everything I was going to need for the week (a charger and a bike lock). I loved using the URB-E. It was way faster and easier than walking or skateboarding, especially in the 100 degree heat. It saved me a lot of time going to my classes and it was easy to fold up and carry inside. It's also really fun to ride and everybody thinks it's super cool. Would definitely recommend renting or buying one.
I've been using an URB-E around campus for the past week and I love it! It's the perfect way to quickly get around without worrying about parking or finding somewhere to lock it up. I personally think its much easier to ride than a bike. With URB-E, I may never get my drivers license!
I was able to test an URB-E in exchange for my honest review. The URB-E was very well made and felt sturdy. It was also extremely easy to use and anyone can get the hang of riding it within a few minutes. I was impressed with how long the battery lasts, especially when maintaining speeds around 20mph. Would definitely recommend as an alternative way to get around.
This week I am serving as a Urb-e ambassador and am loving it! The pro model is very sleek and fast and i especially love the durability of the tires. Tomorrow i plan on testing out riding the train and rail with the urb-e and am sure it will be a fast and easy transition. Plan on one soon.
URB-E is an interesting product, because although it does certainly increase the speed at which you get to and from places, it is no doubt a pain to carry around. Honestly, you don't really find many instances where you have to carry it around, because most places have ramps nowadays, but there are the places that don't, and carrying the URB-E up and down stairs is a real pain. Excellent in selling but once the order is placed, you don't hear a peep. They already charged the credit card. The original delay of 3 weeks is now 4 weeks added on top. They should note on their page that PRODUCTION IS DELAYED AT LEAST 6 WEEKS.
We've been all over Pasadena, South Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Arcadia all in one day on our new urb-es and the Gold Line. Such a great way to see the city and stop at events on our way by. Looking forward to many more adventures with my urb-e sport gt.
