The exotic vet would not answer a question about my turtle on feeding during my appt for my bird “ I don’t have time for that make an appt and I’ll give you some pamphlets “ there was no reason she couldn’t of given me them that day , she seems to be all about the money , needless to say I won’t be back !!!!
I cannot thank Dr Lucas and the staff for their devotion and care for my rabbit Bugs Bunny. Although he didn't make it , Dr Lucas did and tried everything she could. The entire staff was all pulling for my bugs to make it.
Very thankful we were able to get our EFFEY in on a pinch! Great staff! You won't find a more educated & knowledgable avian vet in the area as Dr. Lucas. She's more than just a Band-Aid to the problem...
I don’t like to write negative reviews, but I find it unprofessional and dangerous when they don’t return your call after you’ve left a message (with a person) that your pet is suffering and not responding to their treatment.
The vet was fine with my bird but I was there for about 2 hours. They had me waiting awhile and wanted to do Some tests to my bird and wanted to charge me over 400$, I love my bird and want to keep him healthy and happy but I’m on a very limited budget/ income. I also asked the vet a question at the end after I left the room and she seemed annoyed. Not sure I will go back but she did know a lot about birds .
Absolutely loved the Dr. Joy Lucas and her staff. She was a natural with my beardie and so sweet, I would absolutely recommend her. �
I have been bringing my kitties to Dr. Lucas for at least 8 years. I have an old ill tempered cat that ONLY likes Dr. Lucas. The staff has been patient with my cats temperament. She was abused as a kitten before I adopted her. Vets at other locations were never kind to her because she's so frustrating and cranky. My old kitty trusts Dr. Lucas. I bring my bird and my Yorkie to Dr. Lucus. She is a kind and experienced vet. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff is very helpful and always ready to help answer questions.
