I am a customer of a local business using Upserve and they charge a service fee, but it is hidden during the checkout process. After contacting Upserve about the fees, they were unapologetic and unwilling to refund. The fee isn't a huge expense for me, rather having to dig and find out why the fee comes through separate. Honestly, I thought my card info was stolen so having to look through bank statements and digging online to find out if this is a fradulent charge. I RECOMMEND *****VS UPSERVE I would be wary of doing business with Upserve. I was pressured by Upserve’s salesperson to make a ***** decision by the end of the month. Although, initially, I indicated to go with Upserve, I quickly chose the TOAST system instead for the following reasons: *****has proprietary equipment which is a lot more durable for restaurant use and even water resistant as indicated by a 3yr warranty vs a 2 yr warranty. ***** has actual boots on the ground with a local salesperson who can physically support... read more

Upserve Customer Service is always quick and efficient and helpful. If someone doesnt have an answer they always find a person who does!!

Upserve's POS does a great job, but the back office aspects need some work. Also, response time from customer support can lag at times.

Upserve has a complex yet easy to navigate HQ that has made building a complicated menu much simpler. Their OLO website has been instrumental in getting through the difficult times we find ourselves in. I would definitely recommend this product to most restaurants.
