RecommendedI can not possibly say enough good about this hospital!!! my husband was life flighted there after an accident, we spent a lot of hours in the trauma bay. The nurses there were AMAZING they took such great care of him!! The nurses in the trauma step down were WONDERFUL!!! They kept me informed and kept my husband in good spirits, again I can't say enough good about this hospital!!!
They love to send any open Billings straight to collections. You’ll know if you have an open balance when it hits your credit report.
The doctors and nurses I've worked with have been good. I have received good care from the people involved. The problem is financial/billing. UPMC billed our insurance with the wrong codes frequently... too frequently to believe they're all actually mistakes. UPMC does not correct their own billing errors (why bother, since they will get their money, whether from me or when they sell the debt to a collection agency?) I was always taught that if someone come over, They don’t leave until eating. If I had it, anyone else did as well. I to know what it’s like to need someone or just a warm plate of food . The very reason I’m so passionate of helping someone. If I can help in anyway possible way please do not hesitate to contact me via-text please.
The Dr is terrible docs and nurses are rude and mean.....we were there waiting for 4 hrs....I was in see her pain...and they only gave me tylenol....my family Dr sent me there to be admitted....doc in er said it was up to them not him if I stay ....they sent me home.....Will never return there again
End double billing and ‘hidden fees’....as typical with UPMC! Don’t be fooled by the ‘not for profit’ status...UPMC charges for the visit PLUS a hefty physicians’ fee! Wake up people! UPMC has monopolized Western PA, and now believe they can set whatever fees they wish....unfortunately, consumers feel they are obligated to pay without questions! It’s time to end their tyranny! We all deserve quality healthcare without ridiculous fees! BOYCOTT UPMC

They know nothing about customer service. I have been trying all morning to pre register for lab work and every time I get through, including going through their operator, I get disconnected. This is not the first time I and others have experienced this, it's been a practice since at least last year and it is sheer arrogance on their part.
