Dr nelson is the best surgeon there is. He listens and explains things. He does an excellent job at doing surgeries. Inwas in the er. He came on his day off and left a family event to check on me. Couldn't ask for a better caring doctor.
Simply the best surgical team in Tennessee ! Dr. Robert Maxwell and his crack OR team probably saved my life the night of 22 Feb 2026 when they performed emergency surgery to remove my blocked large intestine. Additionally, Dr. Chris Bell and his lively OR team installed a chemo port five days later to facilitate my ongoing chemo treatments. She was professional and courteous with a warm smile and answered my questions and assisted my in-check. Staff (Elaine) was also attentive and helpful.
