They misinformed us on multiple occasions about insurance and then refused to send is an itemized receipt so we could pass it on ourselves. In almost 5 years we have had very few pleasant experiences, outside of Pinkston who has left. The doctors speak down to parents and try to bully. We glad that our area now has an alternative.
RecommendedI can’t say enough things about how great the doctors/nurses are! Now with that being said, they could replace some of the office staff. I’m not one to ever leave a bad review about something, until today. I thought maybe it was just me, but I’ve seen two or three people that has agreed so obviously I’m not the problem. Dealing with billing personnel and trying to get supporting documentation is a nightmare.

RecommendedI recently had Open Heart Surgery at UVA. The Cardiac Surgical Team was outstanding every step of the way. I had total confidence that i was in the best place for this surgery.

Broke foot. Started swelling, pain and did I . mention I broke it two places. UVA did not put a cast on it for 2 weeks. It is swelling, tingling ands bad pain. Called UVA to get some help. I could not get an appointment until the next day. I can not eat or sleep. I thought UVA as a great hospital. But after this situation I will be going somewhere besides University of Virginia .

RecommendedThe Doctors and Nurses are always nice and if you don’t understand something they explain everything to you it’s always clean and the cafeteria always has YUMMY FOOD
