The warmth, compassion, smiles on every visit and my three unplanned admissions along with the high level of medical expertise have reinforced my choice.

Become more sympathetic! I was not able to have the surgery I needed because I didn't have the $21,000 down payment Dr Sheehan wanted. Two years later, here I am still in need of it. If only I was rich or had good insurance. I only have Medicare and Medicaid. 😕 #InMyOwnPersonalHell

UVA cared for me through several stages of heart disease/failure, and have successfully guided me through every step of heart transplant and post-transplant care. Dealing with billing personnel and trying to get supporting documentation is a nightmare.

I recently had Open Heart Surgery at UVA. The Cardiac Surgical Team was outstanding every step of the way. I had total confidence that i was in the best place for this surgery.
