Go elsewhere! They completely did a bait and switch on me, resulting in a bill of $450. Doctors nurse at KU med arranged an appointment for a procedure in their pain clinic and when I show up they said it was only a consultation. Never was I informed a consultation was required. I would have gone elsewhere if I did. Spend a year proactively trying to resolve this....they take it to collections and now are actually suing to steal this $450 from me. Legalized extortion, plain and simple.
RecommendedExcellent, caring, knowledgeable staff. Entered with severe symptoms that two other medical centers could not diagnose and referred me to KU Med Center due to their outstanding reputation. Had a diagnosis within hrs and treatment began immediately. Every doctor at least 6 or more consulted with my family and I and kept us in the loop every step of the way. I paid 9500 up front for my gastric sleeve that was spouse to cover all my appointments well I never got seen by my dr last 6 months I have very bad acid reflux and everything and went for 3 appointment sat in waiting room for over a hour to be told oh we accidentally skipped you can we reschedule I drive all the way from Topeka Kansas which is over a hour each way very poor staff I would not recommend them
