This was THE worst of all service I have had at this hospital EVER and have been coming here for years. This one visit has totally made me change my mind and will start giving my services to another hospital. BP was several different readings the highest was 182/110 and not ever was given any medication. Was placed in the hallway and told I would get a room but never got a room. My daughter, Cindy Burton, was taken by ambulance to KU. She had a stroke. They did the surgery, admitted her. two weeks later they transfered her to their rehab where she was found dead. No one would take the blame for who ever was taking care of her. Nineteen days later someone we had never met signed the death certificate. Still trying to find out who her nurse was that didnt do HER job resulting in no help for her and finding her body one hour later. I tell everyone dont go there for a stroke...
Hands down the worst treatment center. My father-in-law has been there for over a week and has not yet been given a diagnosis. After an MRI, the Drs couldn't agree if the tumor in his brain was operable or not, or if there is 1 or 2 tumors. A scope was done to remove some tissue from his lungs for histology, we were told the results were and there was going to be a consultation....nobody showed. Recommendedthe nurses are great.they treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. as do the Drs an aides.
