They saved our dogs life!!
Every member of the team who worked with our girl Luna was tremendous. All compassionate and caring for not only our pup but also the humans who love her. Our travel time is long but I would do it again if one of our pets needed special attention. We miss our girl but appreciate everything U of I Veterinary Hospital did for her. Highly recommend!
Our young dog had emergency surgery near our home on Wednesday night and complications arose Thursday evening. We travelled directly to U of I and the staff there looked after our hurting dog for six hours throughout the night, resolved her problem and we headed back home with our comfortable healing dog at 4:00 am. Grateful to all of the staff who took care of our sweet dog.
I would highly recommend this facility for your loved furry family member. They care for you like their own loved one. The travel is hard at times but they only want what is best for the interest of the pet.
Tremendous compassion and skill.
There was a time when you could go here for a lower cost. From what I experienced these last few months with coming to U of I was no savings at all. The costs were just as high if not more. The staff is very pleasant and efficient but I suggest if you're thinking about saving money, forget about it. Save your gas and travel time. Support your local veterinarian that you trust and like.
Our standard poodle had entropion surgery on both lower lids. So far good. Saved us a ton of money but was able to be seen by ophthalmology.
Completely heartless when dealing with putting down a pet. Their security deposit requirements are absurd, especially when you wind up not going through with the procedure, but STILL have the charge hit your credit card.
