The doctor that we saw was very condescending and rude. I have been a vet assistant and know the value of making anyone feel safe and secure in the knowledge that you’re doing everything you can to help their loved one. I did not get that from this man and will never bring another animal to your hospital, willingly.
They have a wonderful staff that genuinely care about your pet and the owners. When I came in with my dog that had shattered her leg, they were upfront with what they could do, how long for the recovery and how much it would cost. It has been 15 weeks, but she is finally on the road to resuming normal activity. They are wonderful!!!
Be warned, they WILL kill your pet. They will tell you he can be saved, give you some options, but they ultimately want your money so they recommend hospitalizing them. I’m on disability a fixed income, I can’t afford that. My dog needlessly suffered for two days. Instead of humanely putting him down LIKE WE ASKED, he choked to death and died in my arms at his actual vet two days later. He died yesterday afternoon. He was the best dog, and this is the worst place. 0/10 would return.
They are an excellent Hospital. They have always taken such good care of our little guy. He had the cataract surgery 2 years ago and has now had to go there for pancreatitis. Will only trust them for major issues that need vet attention.
very nice people and very caring.
Very caring and thoughtful felt like I was in good hands as soon as I arrived.
Extreamly carring! Smart, knowledgeable, and loving. Treats you like family! Hands down highly recommend! 5 stars!!
A WARNING to all pet owners!!! If for some reason your precious family pet needs to be seen in a Sunday for an emergency and have no other option but to take them to U of I veterinarian Hospital be prepared for scare tactics and be prepared to stand your ground to protect your pet!! They know you love your family pet and will try and use your fear and tell you they won't touch or help your pet til you agree to a certain amount of money! They don't care about your pet!! They only care about money!!
