The education program is garbage. I also had financial aid that the psycho harasser Fin aid advisor Wendy O**** never dispersed and returned after I completed the first 6 months.

If I could give this school a ZERO star rating, I would!! I applied for this school at the end of July. It has been NOTHING but issues since. Here we are in OCTOBER and still NOTHING but issues. I find out a week prior to starting my first class in AUGUST that you are in a "risk-free" trial period. You generally think "risk-free" means it's free and you can quit in case you don't like it. Nope I was charged $1,309.15 for my "risk-free" class. I was told my financial aid would be processed and approved the last week of my fir... read more

Thank you for making us aware of this student's concerns. We are working very closely with him and will continue to do so.
I would never discount the experiences of others, but all I know is that my experience with University of Phoenix has been stellar! Any issue I have ever had has always been resolved in the most professional and amicable manner. My personal experience has been one of rigor and exceptionally hands on teaching and facilitation by classroom instructors. The courses have been challenging. The content rich. The discussions engaging and thought-provoking. I learned so much about education in general, not to mention research method... read more

Thank you for sharing this positive review from one of our valued students. We will make sure that we reach out to Wayne directly regarding this insightful posting about his experience.
Seeing all these reviews I am withdrawing from class I have never heard of a process of as long as 60 days. I was never told that when I was being admitted. No high school diploma was asked of me. That should have been a red flag for me. I never heard from my admission counselor after they got me through the door. My financial aid advisor was horrible. They are making millions off of poor , single, hard working people they should be ashamed of they self. I hate I wasn't told about the free trial as well I would have already ... read more

This school is bogus ! It's all about money with them , I have been attending since February and failed a class but paid for it with my loan money and now there telling me I still owe them money and on top of that I opted into managing my owns on my account but they haven't sent me my money I keep getting different answers and the financial aid manager is no help plus the advisor didn't want to sign the papers to release the funds to me , I have called multiple times and sent multiple emails but no one responds and it's been... read more

Attention ALL Veterans, Please seek higher education elsewhere, this university's finance team practices fraud and takes advantage of the benefits that the Veterans Affairs (VA) provides veterans. For example, when I was awarded over $9,000.00 in financial aid, they applied all of it towards 4 of my future courses even though their policy says to the current course. Furthermore, they only certify your attendance after week 3 which delays your BAH & Book Stipend. Stay away from this university. They have lied to me on sev... read more

The University of Phoenix is always eager to review comments of deficiencies from our students and works diligently to analyze and improve shortcomings. We regret to learn of this student's viewpoint and have addressed his concerns.
The financial department at this school is a joke. No matter who you talk to the answer is always, "It's under review". They send me an email to complete my FAFSA early, so I did. Then they sent another email telling me I had to fill out my FAFSA again anyways, even though I already did. My marital status changed in between the months that the emails and FASFA were filled out. The next 2 months were hell trying to get anyone at the University to get MY federal funds released to me. The issue still has not been resolved and n... read more

University of Phoenix Online classes are a joke. I graduated with a 3.95 which I was very proud of, but after thing about it, I am not really that proud. The classes were not challenging in any way. All discussions with my classmates were minimal at best. Many people were getting credit for making the most ignorant statements and not giving the rest of us anything to work off of to make our daily comments. I did not learn a thing from any of my classes. With that being said, I am held monthly to extreme loan payments, which ... read more

I will never recommend anyone goes to this house of jokers "school". It was fine for the first year, and then things really started going down hill. I only had military funding for a few months, and each and everytime FAFSA time came around they mentioned my military discount, when I REPEADEDLY told them I didn't have it anymore. 2 years of that. Every person I saw engage in the "class discussions" couldn't string a simple sentence together with proper grammar and punctuation, but still managed to pass someone. This is suppo... read more
