I started back last October 2017 for my Bachelors in nursing- the very last class, which ended this July- I accidently turned in a draft of a paper due instead of the finished paper which I worked very hard on- this dropped my final grade to a C- and now they will not help me and will not let me graduate. The instructor never tipped me off that I might have made a mistake-and ALL of my classes have been As and A-, THEY WONT LET ME GRADUATE THEY SAID I HAVE TO REPEAT THE COURSE!!! Where else can I report this? The instructor ... read more

I would like to say, in opposition to all of these complaints, that I love UOP. The teachers are obviously educated with incredible backgrounds and achievements. (I read every bio and rate their performance) I have been very happy with all of my teachers and they have been very helpful, added to my education, and highly involved. One teacher I had was an astrophysicist from NASA, plus many other highly regarded instructors. The assignments are challenging and require much effort and dedication. I have spent a week straight w... read more

I, like many others before me, who have filed complaints regarding the University of Phoenix's financial aid practices, am experiencing eerily the same circumstances as many that have reviewed this University before me. Along with this, also like many others who have filed complaints, wish I would have had the opportunity to review these complaints prior to enrolling in this school. I recently transitioned into the University of Phoenix's Master's in Education program from another University, hoping to strengthen my pre-exis... read more

Hello. I attended the University of Phoenix in 2006. When speaking with the school counselor. I was told I was on track to receive a Master's Degree in Psychology. Upon graduation two years later, I ordered my cap/gown to receive my Master's Degree in Psychology. Upon it's arrival and speaking to friends in class, I was very upset to find out I did not receive a Master's in Psychology, I received a Master's in Counseling. I returned the gown for a Psychology degree and ordered a gown for the Counseling degree. Since then, I ... read more

I last attended this school about 13 years ago. They promised financial aid and the application thereof to my tuition. For weeks and weeks I kept trying to find out when my financial aid would be applied, because the school was billing me for over $4000. The finance department kept giving me some kind of excuse that there was confusion at the student loan level about whether or not I was married because I had married and divorced while attending UoP. Eventually I dropped the class I was in because I knew I couldn't pay the $... read more

I have received both a associates and bachelors from this school without any issues. Now that I started my online Masters program the finance department have been disappointing. I am almost finished with a third online class and still have not received funding since I started 4 months ago. The school never contacted me about any documents needed in order to process financial aid funding. I called and each time I have spoken with a different advisor (9 different advisors in 2 months to be exact), have received different infor... read more

The University of Phoenix gave me an amazing education. I can honestly say I received an exemplary education and it was much better than any education at any not-for-profit state public universities I have attended. I learned amazing skills and consider myself a scholar who is published and notable in his field. The University of Phoenix’s curriculum was rigorous, meaningful, relevant, and immediately applicable. The University of Phoenix educated the non-traditional students, like myself, and I thank the University of Phoen... read more

This school has very poor communication with its students. After having to unenroll because they over promised. They sent me straight to a collection agent with out any notification to pay tuition. I received no letters, emails, or any phone calls. Horrible horrible communication!!!

Please before you attend this school do your homework. This is the worse school I have ever attended, and there finance department is a joke every time you call about your excess funds being released they tell you a different story, and for goodness sake dont tell them your going to manage your own funds, they ask you questions like, "Are you sure your capable of doing that?", or "that's very dangerous." This school is only out for money! Please if you get a financial adviser named Michelle...... and the person that answers ... read more
