Horrible school have had so many problems with them in the month I've attended or should I say attempted to attend
This is the worst program I have ever been in. The curriculum is poor and they don’t take transfer credit and don’t know any of the information you submit. I changed programs and the school tells me I will owe a balance but I completed over 60% of my program and earned all my funds. 6 months later they are returning funds and saying I owe. I call to ask why and the financial aid advisor straight up says he doesn’t know why. They find ways to charge you when you leave the school and keep all of your federal funds as well. After reading the reviews for Phoenix on this site, it is amazing how eerily similar the stories are. I attended about 5 courses at the university and quickly grew tired of the disorganization and "resource" fees. It was next to impossible to get in touch with my assigned academic and financial advisors and was always forced to call the regular number and be connected to random representatives in what sounded like a massive call center. Nobody seemed to have the same information and would often give conflicting information r... read more
Back in 2011, I started school through University Of Phoenix, due to a series of unfortunate events in my life, getting my degree has been put on the back burner. Up until recently, my life has been a rollercoaster ride but now things are starting to settle down and my future is looking up. I decided, I want to start working on better my credit so I signed up for Credit Karma. On there, I found a "charged off" debt from University of Phoenix for $764.00!! I had absolutely no idea that I owed money to them nor why I owe money... read more
I have been wanting to return to school for years. Now that all my children are of age, I thought it would be nice to do something for myself and finally obtain my college degree. I was told over and over again that my financial aid was pending and that I could start classes and not have to worry about anything because it would take time for the grants to kick in. After months of waiting, I kept getting email notifications about how my bill was due/past-due. I kept in contact w/the finance department on a regular basis, who ... read more
I attended this school starting back in 2006 and graduating in 2008 with an associate's degree in business. I recently applied for a job that required a background check. On this background check the university stated only that I enrolled in 2008. It said nothing about attending or graduating. So I am wondering what I need to do to dispute this false report and I am curious if there are others who have experienced similar issues?
I am beyond frustrated with this university. I am in a doctorate program and took a few classes this summer to fill cognates for my program, as they were more affordable than taking them at my school. I did all my assignments on time and received A's on all of my assignments. In the second class I took, one of my assignments did not fully upload to the online portal. When checking my final grade, I received a grade of a B-, rather than an A. I reached out to my professor who told me she would change the grade if I went throu... read more

Thank you for making our office aware of this concern. We have reached out to Ms. Sweetapple.
Wish we could give a lower star! It is so disappointing when trying to reach a higher standing and being given the run around. I began pursuing a certification so I could enlist in the air force. My "financial adviser" told me the best bet to get 15 credits was to enroll in a certification program. All started well until every class I would need to resend "family verification sheet" and would be dis-enrolled because the paperwork would take up to 3 weeks to examine. After doing this for almost 2 years, enrolled for a class g... read more

I attended the University of Phoenix for all three of my degrees from AS to Masters. I recently started with a different university and was informed that I did not have enough financial aid to finish my Teaching degree. The current school explained to me that although I received these degrees from the Phoenix university the schools degrees do not allow a student to become licensed in order to possess the jobs you went to school for. In my opinion this is the worse school to attend and they do not tell you this information wh... read more
