Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I'd love to tell you how great they are at cleaning but they cancelled the first appointment and didn't answer the phone when we called right back after getting the voicemail. They even said in the message that they didn't have a good excuse. I have used them in my home and in my 5 unit apartment building to clean up after tenants and prepare for new ones. They have always been on time, always thorough, have returned for extra work and have left my house and apartments spotless. Best Cleaning Service in the Area. Great Communication and never a problem. – Licensed, bonded and insured. Never a problem. All work is 100% gauranteed. Any bad reviews could only be coming from a competitor. The management is A+. I have worked with this company for the last 10 years. They are always available and even accomodate emergencies. I also own a business and understand how tough managment of employees can be.. UMA does a wonderful job.
ZERO ACCOUNTABILY... – I have a rental property in Manayunk. About two weeks ago, my tenants contracted w/ United Maids to clean the house. Despite the fact that the cleaning team was NOT asked to clean anything in the basement, the cleaning crew decided to clean out my entire tool chest and work bench...over $2000 of tools. As of today, the owners of United Maids have made NO offer of recompense, to investigate further with their own employees, or even to offer my tenants a refund.
