The online payment system has not been working, and when I reached out for help I was told someone would get back to me, that was over a month ago now, and the payment system still does not work, and NOBODY has reached out to me. I've heard that United Illuminating just shuts off service when payments are not made, so I guess that will happen soon, and they still won't care when I need help then.

Power out for 7 hours now in Milford. Estimated restoration time is not until midnight to 2 am tomorrow??!! There’s no excuse for that!! One end of Milford is the only significant outage area with almost 2000 of us without power. UI WAS NOT PREPARED SO LOTS OF US WILL FREEZE TONIGHT

because you guys keep raising your rates for no apparent reason at all. every time we turn around you are raising your rates and not producing. what I believe it's like 16 and 19% this time around, absolutely ridiculous. so now we just lost power, so now what? you guys need to get our power back up since your constantly raising the rates so you need to produce.

I haven't ever had trouble with my electricity or anything like that, but I wish I could find elsewhere for electric based on their dreadful website. I have been a customer since 1999, and I have ALWAYS had issues with their website. Sometimes it doesn't recognize my password (it's always the same!), other times it simply changes things at will, regardless of what I input. It's infuriating. And customer service takes days to get back to you. Please, PLEASE, UI. Whomever designs your site, FIRE THEM! AND GET A NEW DESIGNER!!!... read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE ! and it seems like their on line bill pay has changed ?!?! I went to log on today and my account is there but not my bill pay info ?! seems they want $3.95 fee to pay on line ?!!?! you will NOT get another cent from us....the bills are ridiculous as it is !!
