The absolute worst company! Started with AHS sending them out for a pipe leaking. They sent 2 inexperienced techs who did nothing but cut holes in dry wall. Still didn't find leak. Fast forward 3 days later, they send another, young, inexperienced tech who also said, the office at United Temp has been slacking lately with very little staff. In which I didn't ask, he volunteered this info. Do Not Use this Company - I would give them a "Zero" star if it was an option!!! This company was sent dispatched to me via ******** **** ******warranty company to fix the A/C. The technician said that the system's evaporator coil was leaking refrigerate and needed to be repaired as it was corroded/rusty. He then took it out the system for repairs and stated that he would return the next day to install it but never did and did not call. I called them to fix my HVAC, which had been making strange noises and not working at full capacity for a few weeks. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude, she berated me for not buying a "warranty package" (which was clearly a huge rip-off), and when the man came to service my HVAC he was more than an hour late. Of course, he was rude and didn't bother apologizing for the lateness. I called this morning because the fan on my system had stopped and there was a lot of smoke coming out of it. I also noticed a COMM ERRO on my thermostat. I got worried about the system breaking down two days before Christmas so I called UNITED AIR TEMPS who I have used and still have a service agreement with. I explained what was going on to the person on the phone and she was kind to send someone. Yesterday my HVAC unit start acting up, I called AHS to get a technician sent. I received a phone call almost immediately from United Air Temp, who advised they had a technician on call and would be sent today. The call center employees are very friendly. The positive part of the review ends there. The Technician from United Air Temp showed up, "diagnosed" the problem only by looking at my HVAC unit, ran no tests, then told me I needed a Defrost board, looked at the unit downstairs even though I had reported no problems with... read more

We have a Home Warranty thru AHS. Our AC started freezing up so I called AHS put in a service order. They sent United Air Temp they came July 8th, the tech told me we were missing 3-4 lbs of Freon and it was not covered by AHS and it was $150.00 per lb. I told them I'd think about it cause the HVAC is over 20 yrs old. 2 days later I called United Air Temp to fill the missing Freon. (I didn't want to spend for new HVAC).
