This company shouldn't be in bussiness. Nasty bussiness practices. Want to charge you extra regarless if you have home waranty or not. THEY LIED. 07/01/2025 I openned a service request with American Home Shield and this company was assigned. They came and diagnose and said a sensor needed to be replaced. 3 weeks later, they replaced sensor and still didn't work. Now, they said to replace the board. July 21, 2025, United Air Temp was referred by xxxxx home warranty due AC not cooling. A service *** from United Air Temp arrived on July 22nd. ** was working when *** left, but the following day July 23rd AC had stopped working.Contacted XXXX home warranty and was told U. A. Please read all reviewed on multiple platforms. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Installers showed up 12 hours late no call or update or anything. Installed AC at 9pm at night and did not install it correctly. One of the techs wore no uniform and spoke zero English. I called them back out to address the non working issue, waited several hours just to be told he can't make it and someone should be calling me. No one called me and I asked for someone to show up. On Sept 19 2024 AHS sent united temp for checking on ** unit.The service person seemed to be irritated from the get go, gave some english talk and walked around house and left without doing nothing. All these ‘techs’ do is try to sell customers new product. Each tech (who was first sent by American Home Shield) wanted to do was sell me unneeded & expensive products! I had them back to service my furnace because they won’t leave without out selling you something. They use scare tactics on old people. I was told my condo was going to flood because my five year old $2000 water heater was faulty. I said I had insurance & was asked how much is your deductible? On September 27th, 2023, American Home Shield sent United Air Temp to my house for some services. The technician provided wrong diagnosis about a bath tub faucet, stating that it was due to high water pressure instead of normal wear and tear. Which blocked the benefit that I was going to get from AHS. Also, I have a high end kitchen faucet which was leaking and I opted for a cash out option. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! United Air Temp was contracted through my home warranty company AHS for my AC unit. My original issue was that the unit was not cooling. They showed up on time for the appointment and that's the only reason I would give them 1 star. They added coolant and it worked for a couple days then went out again. Came back and determined it was a leak in the line but they had to run a test to determine where. I had a disappointing experience with United Temp, which was dispatched to my home by American Home Shield (AHS) for a water heater repair covered under warranty. Initially, they replaced the thermostat, and the water heater seemed to work for only half a day. Subsequently, when it ceased functioning, I contacted AHS again, and they sent United for a follow-up visit.
