I totally love my Unicomp keyboard! I use my keyboard for 10 hours a day as a medical receptionist! I love the Purple keys I purchased and replaced the gray keys with.
By far one of the best computer peripheral purchases I've ever made. My typing accuracy is almost 100% now. My backspace key misses me!
I absolutely LOVE my Unicomp keyboard! LOVE IT! I use my keyboard for 8 hours straight as a medical transcriptionist, and what I love about this keyboard is that my hands are not tired after 8 hours of use. I have had my keyboard for 3 years, and in that time I have not worn holes in the keys and I can still read the letters/numbers (the other keyboards that you buy in a store wear out on me very quickly and you cannot read any of the keys). Very good quality! I highly recommend the Unicomp keyboard!
Sent two IBM Ms for repair/ restore. One of the keyboards seemed beyond repair. It had been outdoors in the elements for days before I retrieved it. In very short order the keyboards were repaired and returned to me, working and looking as new. I am very pleased with the decision to have Unicomp restore my keyboards. I didn't realize how much I missed typing on these. Now I have replaced the rubber-dome keyboards I was using at home and at the office.
Great keyboard, but the num lock LED didn't work at all when I got it.
I used one of them soft membrane Microsoft Keyboards with split key design for ergonomics, but it still tweaked my wrists. I don't get carpel tunnel using these buckling spring keyboards. I don't know why.
