Just got my Ultra Classic M. Absolutely in love with this keyboard. It has replaced my Cherry MX and optical (Wooting) keyboards as my primary daily driver.
Fantastic product bought the new model M (UT40U4A) hooked it up and absolutely love it the staff was good to the one i'd suggest is if a potential buyer like me is interested they need all the information they can get I bought one anyway knowing the rich history of unicomp and buckling springs :) but I also felt a little hung out to dry asking particular questions :( also no information is listed on the page so i am forced to ask things overall great product great people but communication and information fell a little short ... read more
For a company based in the United States, these guys really have a passion for making some of the best keyboards on the market. Yes, the finish or printing might not be the best in the world, but the feel is second to the original IBM keyboards of which the new units are cousins. The only thing I wish for is a Spacesaver M with trackpoint or trackball, updated keybindings (Dashboard is no more), and a 10keyless version of the keyboard for use with laptops or mobile devices. My wife got sick of me crying about how much I hated Apple keyboards and bought me one of yours. I came from the old school IBM PC era and I really missed those keyboards. Until now. This is what I have been missing lo these 15 years! Thanks Unicomp and thanks for keeping it in the USA!
