I've purchased a Classic Series M and a Spacesaver recently. Both are excellent. Additionally, I just had my 1993 Series M repaired (a column of keys stopped working after 25 years and the spacebar kept dropping extra spaces). I'm super happy with Unicomp's products and services, to say the least.

I got a Model M (Model UB40446) early in 2017. A year later, it's still going strong. Typing feel and sound is great. Best keyboard money can buy, hands down!

I grew up with model f keyboard, then got my 1st model m last year. I needed a new keyboard for work so I bought a unicomp ibm clone (Same size case as original model M). I'm very happy with it the feel is so close if you blindfolded me I couldn't tell you which was which after I bolt modded my original. The build quality is very good and my keycaps are spot on. Keyboard was made 2016, will buy another one for a friend's Bday who also grew up with model f he's going to love it.

Keycaps are made from very durable PBT plastic, which means that I have typed an extreme large amount of text. Unicomp keyboards may be called ugly by today's standards, but they are reliable and nice to type on. Some replacement parts for old Model M keyboards ordered in 2018 (buttons, stabilizer inserts, pivot plates) were also of high ... read more

I am ready to order my 3rd keyboard from them. The reason the 2nd one after 5 years is going bad is that the left shift key is working sporadically. I have a feeling that if i hadn't been eating toast over this keyboard all these years it would still be fine. But I can hear all the crumbs rattling inside ;-) Life is too short to be using cheap $10-$15 keyboards all day. I am glad unicomp is in business in a word where 'cheap" and shoddy seem to rule in so many things.
