Administration needs to take immediate action to address the alarming lack of professionalism, clinical competency, and adherence to proper medical procedures demonstrated by nursing staff at this facility, particularly regarding the removal of a PICC line. There is absolutely no excuse for a nurse to perform a medical procedure without the necessary knowledge, training, and technical skills to do so safely and correctly. This hospital and the ER RNs/MDs are incompetent for high level care when a patient is in need of quality care. Hearing the RNs talk negative about my family was heartbreaking.

I was mistreated in their emergency room and accused of being mentally ill, whereas I have no diagnosed mental disorder other than anxiety and panic which is medicated with venlafaxine. The young director of their ER was totally incompetent. It is hard to believe he was a real doctor. It’s been a while since this happened, but I doubt whether they have improved.
