I had twins may 2nd 2014 in chico at enloe. They were 34 weeks gestation and needed iv tubes. Incubators and had a feeding tube and monitors. They did wonderful. I gave 4 stars because both my boys came home with thrush. One had been recently taken off thrush suspension 2 days prior to it coming back. It went unnoticed and since i wasnt able to be there till discharge day (2 days) it was so bad it covered his whole mouth and began being visible on his lips. The other was just two small dots. I am so extremely grateful to the Ronald McDonald Charity and the UC Davis staff! I have to check into the charity housing once a day, and since we are staying longer than expected, I had to do some laundry and shower (the housing is incredible and is basically like a hotel with a full kitchen, free food, free laundry, etc.). I came back to find Mya not only bathed, but happy as could be riding in a wagon with the nurses and volunteers fighting over her. Always so incredibly impressed with the care they provide my kids here.
I am so thankful to the family at UC Davis Children's Hospital. They took such amazing care of my daughter when she was diagnosed with ALL. The nurses were my family as we were there alone for long stays that lasted months at a time. She is now in remission and has been cancer free for 14 years. She will be 16 years old in a few months I look back at the time when she was extremely sick to now and it is just a miracle. Thank you so much for all hard work and attention to my baby. God Bless You All. You are all amazing :-)
My son got really sick in march and we were down here for 29 days. The doctors and nurses are fantastic and very kind to my son and us. They always asked if we needed anything. We are currently at the hospital again because he is getting cochlear's because of the sickness he got. He is a lot better and I would not go anywhere else besides here, even though it is a 2 hour drive from my house. Thank you all for taking care of my son and us, making sure that he was well before we left and made sure we were ok also.
