Ucd peds dept. is amazing. All the Drs and nurses are kind, helpful and patient. We've had many surgeries there and every experience is the same. The child life nurses like "Ginger" are amazing. They truly help the little kids transition smoothly. There personalities with children are amazing. They help explain procedures in a child fun way and help keep them distracted while the not so fun stuff happens. My daughter would like to be a "Ginger" at UCD one day!

This hospital has been taking care of my grandson since he was born June 2016, he's never been home but they are helping us to get him there. The NICU nurses are amazing, thank you for loving him and making him feel at home.

There is no other place I would take my son. He came here from Kaiser when he was just three years old (he is 15 now). He was born with a very rare disorder and had many health issues as a result. Kaiser did not know how to care for him or even listen to what I had to say as his mom. After Kaiser almost killed him I had him transferred to UC Davis Children's Hospital. My three yr old is a Davis survivor she went in with Pannonia we found out her fingers need surgery as well she's getting attended for that as well.
