My husband was told to come at 11 for surgery. He didn't go back until 2:30. It's 6 PM and they still haven't even started surgery. Beyond ridiculous!
RecommendedUAB NICU KILLED MY 4 DAY OLD SON!!!! They were using experimental medicine on him for their financial gain and put him on 3 oxygen machines which were all questionable and completely destroyed my son’s health and chances of ever living a descent life! And when they were done experimenting on him they injected something through his IV which slowly caused his strong heart to stop and then pretended to revive him through chest compressions which they intentionally cracked his chest!!! Is this a hospital or a holistic center? After reviewing the photo chart of ways to "manage your pain after that don't involve opioids chart", I've come to the conclusion that your hospital provides sub-standard care. Does UAB realize that the FDA turned down PROP & refered to those 2016 CDC guidelines as bases on theory NOT scientific evidence? As an employer UAB cut everyone’s pay in response to covid. Then they have to give it back because you can’t do that and take money from the CARES Act. (Keep in mind that they cut pay for front line Covid workers who they call heroes, but only in public) and today I’m informed that I am not eligible for MY back pay because I retired on July 1, 2020 which was conveniently the day the pay reduction ended.
Bad nursing staff that follow a hypocrisy of policy along with an AWOL nurse call system. Don't let yourself be admitted here.
RecommendedI had my baby in May at 33 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia. They took great care of me during delivery and recovery and wonderful care of my baby during her 3 week NICU stay. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their NICU and CCN staff, as well as L&D staff!
Location is convenient just wish the wait time was!
