Uhaul punishes people who live in smaller communities by keeping the larger trucks in bigger cities and if someone in a smaller town wants to rent a larger truck, they have to go pick it up themselves and pay the extra mileage from the bigger city. The **Boxes are a SCAM! DO NOT RENT THEM OVER OTHER OPTIONS. I rented two for a cross country move thinking they were a good deal at ~$2k. Now they want to charge me ANOTHER ~$2k to unload them which was never discussed in advance. They have my belongings so what am I to do other than pay them an undisclosed additional fee of almost DOUBLE.
