Does "guarantee" mean anything anymore? "We have a 6' x 12' Van Trailer reserved for you and guaranteed Thursday, 4/x/2021 at xx:xx AM. We are located at xxxx RENO,NV xxxx and our phone number is (775) xxx-xxxx." ....then a U-Haul rep calls me and says it's not available. This is the third cancelation from U-Haul. First it was a truck rental (so I have to get a trailer to pull with my own vehicle), then it was a hitch installation cancellation, and now the trailer itself is not available. If im being honest, I wouldn't give this a star at all but I am simply because one employee there took the effort to help me when I asked. But I am very displeased with this company. Someone stole out of my storage unit. The company never called me to tell me they found my unit with no lock on it. Had to find out my self. I pay insurance on the unit and the insurance company is not helping me at all. I filed a Police report and the officer said they think it was a janitor that worked at this company. I had went to rent a truck and spent three hours with not receive a key in any of the lockers they had through there mobile app.

The employee that checked me in threaten me and was very rude and disrespectful upon my return. I have never had an experience like this since I have been dealing with Uhaul. When someone tell you that they are charging your bank account/ card whatever they want to that is theft. Even, after Mejae G***** verify that the said employee Michael W***** was wrong about the issue at hand and the way he handled the situation. I have spent the last week trying to contact Uhaul because I rented a trailer and took it from West Virginia to California and they charged me for a toll in Florida. I have proof of more than two hours on hold, facebook messages begging them to call me, emails, and chats, and have been told twice that if the call drops they will call me back - which never happened. I am still on hold for a seventh time for more than Thirty minutes waiting to take care of this. My concern is I will get a bill months from now with a bunch of c... read more

I don’t even know where to begin. I remember being annoyed that the truck had not been cleaned out inside, considering we were in the middle of a pandemic, but I wiped it out and rolled down the windows, besides the kids and I wouldn’t be in it until the next day and I would have wiped it out again anyway..and I was tired. Tomorrow was a bigger day, I had a nearly 900 mile trip ahead, at least 13 hours in the truck, I had given myself two days to make the trip. I have never been more pissed off at a company than I am right now at Uhaul. I scheduled a moving truck on 2/25/21 from a uhaul facility 3 miles from my house. Uhaul changed the location of my unit the day before I was to pick the truck up and the new pick up location is 10 miles from my house. However, I never received an email telling me my pickup location was changed. Uhaul sent a text to me but NOWHERE in the text does it say that the location was changed so when I received the text, I thought it was just them reminding ... read more

7 minutes ago-Edit Only giving one star because I can't give 0. Never felt the need to leave a bad review, but the manager at the Spring Hill, AL location (Tisha C****) just really takes the cake. Never have had somebody threaten to call the police on me before! I went on uhaul's site a month ago and paid $360 dollars for a hitch and installation. Got an email saying when to bring it in. This is the most unethical, uncaring and unreliable company I have ever worked with! I own a logistics business and needed a large amount of rentals for a few months and ended up working with the manager named Eric to get us set up. We had a total of 15 rentals by December and returned them all end of January. They set it up to where I was prepaying for the vans every week, some every 2 weeks so that way when we returned them nothing will be owed for the payments.
