I wish I could give them zero stars....I rented a truck from them to go to ************ ** when we got there the drop off location in ************ ** was closer so we called the number on the paper that they gave ** and ask them if it was ok to drop it off there, they told ** yes it was ,when got to the drop off location in ************ we called them again and ask the lady again "are you sure it is ok to drop it off at said location" she replied yes as long as you let us ( uhaul) know the location...now UHAUL STOLE 300$ OUT... read more

Terrible and frustrating experience. The location wouldn't honor the written quote I showed them, and sent me away empty handed when I told them that I would file a claim for the extra.Quoted price: $426 Price they tried to charge: $570 Price eventually paid at a different location and after much grief: $330 WTF? Is that any way to run a business?

This uhaul *****. Does not allow one way rentals. Only round trip. So must return it back to there site. Thats blows. Not how uhaul supposed to be. At the uhaul off **** w international speedway in ************ flordia

On July 2nd, 2023, I received a text message of possible water damage to my storage unit. So, on July 3rd, I went to the U-Haul storage facility and an insurance adjuster was with me as we inspected my unit. The damaged items were thrown out and everything else was placed back in my unit. I was told by the insurance adjuster that the items that did not sustain damage would be moved to a different storage unit. My husband and I came in to rent one of the U-Haul vans. ************** is the person who rented us the van. She gave us the keys to the wrong vehicle and never instructed us on the trip pre check instructions. Upon return, we noticed things werent adding up. *** vehicle we rented, on paper had **** miles. *** vehicle we had driven, had over ***** miles. In my opinion I believe that their business model is just in ************** availability My reservation pick up was changed four times and I ultimately had to take a smaller truck than I reserved which resulted in having to leave a significant amount of items in a storage locker than I know have to pay to store and will hand to pay to have moved to ********** ** where I moved. *************** ratchet was broken, and was immediacy taken out of service at the destination U-Haul. Good morning. I booked U Haul at kingston road for 4 hrs and got confirmation time at ****pm. So i was at store to collect the van....but unfortunately they said not available. Not sure what is the use of early booking.Finally they redirected other location to pick. Which i did and used just 3 hrs and paid my money thru credit card. After 1 day when i watch my credit card details....i found U haul charged 2 times. I celled 1 800.....took almost 1 hr to wait just to ask.....wait time cannot be that long. We have used U-haul many times in the past. We generally have always had a good experience. We recently rented a 4x8 cargo trailer for a family vacation from *************** to ************. The cost was around $150.00. We are now getting ready to go home and the same size trailer from ************ to *************** is $715.00. That is a 400% increase. We are going the same amount of miles and could even possible get the same trailer but have to spend $550.00 more. I tried to get clarification on why such a big price differ... read more

This specific branch of U-Haul charged me for an entire extra day after we returned the U-haul 40 minutes late even though we were physically at the U-haul drop-off within their supposed time barrier of around 30 mins (according to U-Haul ****************** We missed the time cut-off because the online check-in process takes a long time and the location was quite busy.
