Absolutely appalling experience at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Mountain Brook. If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager at this location (3195 Highway 280 E, Birmingham, AL) is a disgrace to the U-Haul brand and to any business claiming to serve the public. There was a theft from this facility—a serious incident that should warrant urgency, cooperation, and at the very least, basic human decency. It's always extremely easy at this store.
Reserved a 15 ft truck. For some reason, without my approval or acknowledgement, they changed it to a 20 foot truck and said they didnt have any 15 ft trucks available even though there was one in the parking lot. Their reasoning for not letting me take the 15 ft truck that they had in the parking lot was because someone had "just" reserved it while I was standing at the desk...even though I made my reservation 4 days prior to pick-up
