Dr seemed very nice but nobody called to schedule surgery after 4 days from my visit. Yesterday called to talk to his nurse and it’s Friday and no call back. So fine w the Dr but not so good about staff.
Open, honest and transparent. Dr Nathe, took the time to understand why I was there and provided thoughtful insights to help. I have already recommended him to a close friend and will do so in the future. A great find!!
I saw Dr. Nathe for a shoulder injury. He was very professional and proficient in his examination and evaluation. He explained his diagnosis, answered my questions, and did not offer any unnecessary treatment or procedures
I went to see Dr. Nathe about my right knee, which has been bone on bone for about 5 years, but had not given me any pain/problem until 3 weeks ago. For no known reason it started hurting badly and I had to use a cane to walk. I iced the knee several times a day and it was almost back to normal. I quit icing and after two days it became swollen and I could put no weight on it. When I saw Dr. Nathe, who had replaced my left knee about 4 years ago, he had x-rays taken. I was referred to Dr Nathe and I am so glad I made appt to see him. I had some reservation about a pending knee surgery and needed a second opinion. After a thorough exam, Dr Nathe reassured me in laymans terms that I made the right decision to cancel the surgery. He provided an alternate solution and as soon as its approved I will follow up with him. His bedside manner is a plus!
He showed up almost a full hour late. Right before he entered the appointment room, I could hear him through through the wall talking with somebody about why I was visiting. It was very clear he had no idea why I was there and was asking questions to the medical assistant or whoever to get caught up very last second. Once he entered the room, he was very impersonal and seemed to not care about treating my condition. Knowledgeable, professional, timely and caring with a great staff that performs at the same high-level as the doctor.
The care I received was very knowledgeable, but not personable. I sensed skepticism towards the previous doctor who performed my surgery. Different providers have differing opinions and ways of doing things, but that shouldn't have to create condescending attitudes.
