Dr Nathe listened to my input about the sudden “pop” in the back of my knee, then, after reviewing several xrays, counseled me to try RICE for two weeks, along with giving me my very first crutches! He was personable and thorough and did not push addl testing or surgical solutions at this first meeting.

I observe and rate service as part of my career so I tend to be extremely critical when providing feedback. Dr. Nathe and his staff were flat-out AMAZING! From the initial discussion where we planned a course of action to survery and post-op care, I had one of the best service experiences in ANY CAPACITY! I was completely blown-away a d would recommend him for anything in half-a-heartbeat!!

Dr. Nathe is unbelievably good at what he does. His performance as a surgeon is excellent - how do I know that??? My personal experience of two surgeries both ACL replacement (my son) & hamstring re-attachment (me), we are both back to 100%! His bedside manner is above reproach. He is not overly eager to go under the knife either, I just recently went in for a rotator cuff injury and he set me up with PT to see if we can get the results through therapy. Thank you Dr. Nathe!!

Dr. Nathe always takes time to listen and does a great job figuring out what the problem is. I was surprised that he was able take the extra time needed to go ahead and do the cortisone shot in my knee at my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Nathe. He’s was great provider for not only me but he did my husband’s rotator cuff surgery 2 years ago as well.

I had met with a life threatening motor vehicle accident while on vacation that had put me in various complications. During this, I ended up with right clavicle fracture that was treated by Myrtle Beach Orthopedic team and I was told to be on arm sling for 4 weeks or so to get the things back in shape. I was pretty confident that something was not right with my right arm but because there were other critical stuff going on, I was waiting to come back home and do another round of check. Was very apprehensive going into my appt. But Dr. Nathe took enough time to answer all my questions, and to LMK that he used a different surgery technique that would get me back to playing softball in 3 months. Great bedside manner.

I was able to get an appointment quickly at a site that worked for me. Instructions were clear regarding Covid-19 protocols, where to enter the facility and what was required. Staff was polite and smiling at the entry and in reception. Upon being placed in the exam room the process was clearly explained and followed. Dr. Nathe was on time and very professional. What I would have appreciated was to have the staff member accompanying him to be introduced and the comments to her vs to me be a bit clearer. I wasn’t always sure t... read more

He is a caring doctor, I have confidence in him and his staff. He did my right knee now I have one month and two weeks since surgery and I feel great thanks to him. Now I’m going for the left

Dr Nathe is a caring, concerned surgeon who carefully explains your injury and the treatment you are about to get. He is always on time and never do you have to wait. Based on my first experience with him and his staff, I didn’t hesitate returning and would highly recommend him to others in need.
