Watered down drinks poor service, didn’t feel welcomed with my family celebrating my wife’s graduation for her masters degree. Our waitress did do a fine job, the rest of the place was not impressive

The food was either over cooked, or stone cold. We came once a few years back and were thoroughly impressed, this trip was nothing but a disappointment! The waiter only stopped by the table a couple of time over the course of 2 hours. Had to ask multiple times for food and drinks that were forgotten. They couldn’t even manage to cook my daughters grilled cheese (the cheese was not melted AT ALL) how do you mess that up?! Safe to say we will not ever come back!
50 minute wait for food when the restaurant was not busy. No complaint about the food as it was good. The waiter Michael was great and understanding of our frustration. Just unacceptable not only for the wait but for the five other tables around us suffering the same fate. Manager was non existent!
On Thursday evening we were at Twisted Rooster for dinner celebrating our 60th anniversary with family and friends. The manager Izzy and our waitress Taylor were fantastic! The food was great and champagne and special desserts were wonderful. All made it a fun evening......we will be back......Thank you so much.....John and Judy Benson
Been to twisted rooster twice in the past week. Wonderful food and service - Austin rocks!
This place has great food and a great atmosphere. Our only complaint is, where we were seated. I was seated where it was the path to the bathroom and I kept getting hit by people walking by, including waiters. There were a lot of family's with small children seated in the same area next to the loud noisy bar area. Just wasn't impressed with the seating here. Otherwise, everything else was great, food, wait staff and the drinks!!
My husband and I have been disappointed that last 2 times we’ve ordered the fish tacos. Which we have eaten more times than I can remember. We specifically go here for these but not anymore. They use to be amazing then they adjusted the recipe. Also the size of the fish is much smaller. We have spoken to manager while there about the portions and each time we’re told they would talk to the chefs. Unfortunately nothing has changed.
