We visited this center in 2016 and were impressed by the quality of this growing facility and the dedication of its personnel.
So today May 1, 2017, me and two other ladies from work in the Salem Capital mall area had the chance to save moma duck and her eleven ducklings. They were in traffic on Summer St. With the help of John with Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center over the phone we put babies in a box and guided moma 2 blocks back to the creek. It was quite the experience getting moma thru crosswalks and traffic. Amazing how beautiful mother nature and her creatures are including all the kind hearted people who helped.
